Songs from Zaatari: Refugee Music Project

Songs of Zaatari is about a group of musicians in the world's largest camp for Syrian refugees. In November 2015, we interviewed them about the loss of their home, their country, and increasingly their heart. Syrian refugees have few rights in Jordan, so they can only express their heartbreak through art, poetry and music. We have a rough cut and have kept in touch with the musicians, so there is an opportunity to revisit and focus on what their journeys have been like over the past two years.

PRESS: Here's an article the Guardian wrote about the project with one of our video clips: https://www.theguardian.com/music/musicblog/2016/feb/01/syrian-refugees-reveal-heartache-through-music-recording-earth-zaatari
